I am puzzled by California voter behavior. They voted YES on selling bonds to build low income housing. Then voted NO on selling bonds to shore up the California Water Project that supplies water to the proposed houses as well as the farm fields that feed the families who live there. That's what happens when
some climate scientists have predicted that warmer temperatures caused by atmospheric pollution (climate change) may result in a decrease of as much as 40 percent in the annual snow pack over the next 40 years. If these scientists are correct, the gap between California’s fresh water supply and water demand could be more than 50 percent by mid-century.
I don’t think we can deny the obvious any more. Global climate change is here. It’s now, and we humans have more than a little to do with it.
