As a business woman, I focus a lot on the numbers!
The “numbers” tell me what is “out of the norm” – what needs attention – what needs immediate triage and then how to prioritize the necessary changes.
And the numbers today are: 224 and 51 – the numbers Republicans need to hold control of the Congress after the mid-term elections – is there a blue tsunami coming – or are recent special elections the early warning GOP members needed to get them moving to higher ground?
305 million guns in America – The Second Amendment – isn’t going away. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t challenges and opportunities to make it work better for everyone.
To answer those questions, our guest today is Charles C. W. Cooke the editor of National Review Online, a co-host of the Mad Dogs and Englishmen podcast, and the author of The Conservatarian Manifesto. Charles is a graduate of the University of Oxford, at which he studied modern history and politics.
