CYBER is a word we hear every day. It’s part of the ether of our lives.
CYBER is the superstructure of our world.
Dan Trimble joins us to explain why CYBER is important to everyone of us.
Dan’s experience in the world of CYBER Strategy crosses private sector, government agencies and national security.
A Lt. Commander in the US Coast Guard Reserve, Dan most recently worked in the U.S. Intelligence Community as the #2 at a cyber intelligence analysis center in California and Washington, overseeing day-to-day operations for several national-level missions, as well as global cyber policy and planning. During his time in the Intelligence Community, he earned seven awards, including a Defense Meritorious Service Medal and was named intelligence officer of the year for his work on several first-ever inter-agency cyber operations.
All of Dan’s comments today are his own opinions.
Dan will make a return visit on May 12 to talk about the economic and national security RISKS and OPPORTUNITIES from our current and future CYBER environment.
Why is hardening our critical infrastructure so important to both our economic and national security.
